Good morning,
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me get past an Insufficient Permissions message when trying to upload a file. It doesn't matter what kind of file, any file I try gets this message. I tried wmv, pdf, jpg. I have the server installed and working, but I get the error when trying to upload anything. I went into the web folder and gave the upload directory a chmod 777, but that didn't seem to fix it. Does anyone have any insight as to what I might be missing permissions-wise to fix this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.

please update the ViMP-URL in your ViMP-profile that I can have a look at your site.

Do you need a DNS name for it? I have one internally on our network, but I couldn't get to our external DNS yet to get it added. Here is the IP. Let me know if works or if I need to get the DNS on it.

Hallo bshatford,
IP is OK, but most http-requests are aborted. (maybe because of slow internet connection of the server).
So I cannot see much. But you have bought the batchupload-module.
If you´re using batchupload, you forgot Nr. 2 of the installation instructions:

Zitat:
2. edit apps/frontend/config/settings.yml and add the "swfuploadBatch" to the parameter enabled_modules

Hello,
@all: If you see "Insufficient Permissions" under the progress bar after the upload of a medium, please clear your browser´s cache and try the upload again. Should work then. We´ve just recognized this relation.
