We use VIMP both as video on demand solution and for livestreaming in combination with Wowza streaming engine. By connecting VIMP with our central user management (NetIQ solution) we can provide a secure access to the video platform to all our students and staff members. Our range of applications includes lecture recordings, videos for teaching, as well as a multitude of videos of the university campus.

Active usage of the video platform happens from the central e-learning system Moodle and the e-portfolio software Mahara. After two years of successful operation we especially appreciate the attractive license model and the good support of VIMP. We are still convinced to have made the right decision with VIMP for our students and staff members.
