VIMP uses the latest security mechanisms to provide optimal protection for your videos. Our software is protected by a login screen and is only accessible to authorized users. Only you can access the administration area for your videos and make changes. This prevents third parties from accessing, editing, or downloading your files.
Using embed code (iFrame embed or JS embed), videos from VIMP can be embedded on publicly accessible websites and accessed by third parties.
VIMP supports all common video formats. To play videos in HTML5-enabled web browsers, we convert the source files into web-compatible video formats such as MP4 or HLS streams.
When you upload a video to VIMP, it is transcoded into different formats to ensure that it can be played back optimally on different devices and at different bandwidths.
